Summary This survey was conducted in 2014 by Yuji Genda and polled corporate trends in the Tohoku and Kanto regions following the Great East Japan Earthquake disaster.

After the Great East Japan Earthquake disaster, some companies were able to resume their business and expand their employment, while some could not resume their business or had to downsize.

What exactly was different about the companies that were able to quickly resume their business following the disaster, were able to protect their employees, and, at times, were even able to expand in its wake? This survey aimed to answer that question.
