Summary
|
This survey is part of a nationwide survey of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with less than 20 employees conducted quarterly by Japan Finance Corporation. It is a successor to the Japan Finance Corporation Research Institute's "Quarterly Survey on Small Enterprise Trends."
The survey is conducted quarterly by selecting a sample of JFC client firms based on the industry composition of business establishments nationwide. The data presented here are the actual results for the January-March period of 2021 and the forecast for the April-June period of 2021. The survey is intended to provide a detailed understanding of the business conditions of small businesses by industry sector and to serve as a reference for JFC operations as well as for a wide range of external parties.
In addition to the fixed survey items on business trends, this survey includes a particular item (this time, "Capital Investment Status") whose content changes each time it is conducted.
