| Summary | This survey was carried out for the purpose of contributing to the smooth execution of job-hunting and recruitment activities from the next academic year onward by clarifying job-hunting and recruitment selection activity awareness and behavior of students scheduled to graduate from universities in the 2016 academic year with respect to changes in the job-hunting and recruitment period (start of promotional/PR activities for employee recruitment no earlier than March 1 and start of the selection process after June 1). |

| Mode of Data Collection | Self-administered questionnaire: Web-based (CAWI) Approximately 60 universities throughout Japan were selected, taking into account location, founding entity, scale, etc. Fourth-year undergraduate students and second-year master’s students (early-stage doctoral students) from each university were asked to take part in the survey. Students accessed and responded to the survey questionnaire website, which was made available on the Internet. Students were made aware that medical, pharmaceutical, dentistry, nursing, and veterinary students, as well as international students, were not included in the target group for the survey. |
