Summary
|
The number of new start-ups, our economic booster, has actually been decreasing. As this survey series already pointed out, higher initial costs, higher technological and know-how requirements, and the difficulty in securing employees have been responsible for the decline. The 7th survey specifically aimed at clarifying to what extent the entry barriers have become firmer, and provides a deeper analysis of the subject. The survey was designed to reveal the condition of new start-ups in rural areas where different entry barriers prevail from those in big cities. One hundred and six of the respondents were given interviews as well.
