Summary Japan's finance currently faces a big turning point, and price and services competition is expected to become more and more intensive beyond the existing boundaries of the banking, securities, and life insurance businesses For the consumer, it means the arrival of an age of financial asset formation based on self-selection, self-management, and self-responsibility. Against the backdrop, this survey was conducted in order to find out the value of financial assets and types of financial products held by consumers as well as their transactions with financial institutions and consciousness for selecting financial products.
