Summary With the arrival of the super-aging society in earnest, it is expected that various lifestyles will emerge in the future. There are two aspects to the background of diversification. One is that due to the severe changes in the public pension system and the corporate retirement benefit systems, future generations reaching retirement age may have to continue working in some form after retirement. Another aspect is that the number of people who are actively aiming to realize a new lifestyle is increasing against the backdrop of diversifying social values.

The purpose of this survey was to capture the various perspectives, plans, and anxieties about life in old age as considered by people of different generations, i.e., in their 30s, 40s, and 50s, who are going to retire in the future, and at the same time, clarify the diversity of opinions regarding lifestyles and life planning.
