Summary
|
With the spread of cell phones in recent years, the number of households without landline phones has increased. This has been to the detriment of the traditional telephone survey environment and has raised concerns of increasing coverage errors in landline phone surveys.
On the other hand, cell phones with web browsing functions have become widespread, and Internet surveys are becoming increasingly common. Thus, use of cell phones as a survey tool is becoming increasingly important and is expected to increase contact opportunities and eliminate restrictions on survey locations and response time. Therefore, it is desirable to establish cell phone-based Internet survey environments.
The purpose of this survey is to learn the actual situation of cell phone and personal computer use in different survey methods.
Specifically, a survey was conducted of the same content using the four survey methods below to confirm the presence of any disparities.
