Summary This survey aims to investigate the actual voting behavior, etc., of voters in the 46th general election of the House of Representatives held on December 16, 2012 and to make it source material for election awareness in the future.

The main survey items are as follows:
(1) Interest in politics/elections, (2) voting and abstention, (3) sequence of events leading to voting choice, (4) contact with election mediums, (5) about the electoral system, and (6) participation and contact with election awareness

Starting with this survey, the survey method was changed from interview to mail survey.
