Summary The Japan Travel Bureau Foundation is conducting research to understand trends in the travel and tourism markets while making full use of various data and local information.

In particular, the "JTBF Survey of Trends Among Travelers" is conducted every year to clarify the actual state of travel in the domestic travel market and to understand the attitudes of travelers. This survey was conducted in 2006.

- Whether or not a travel agency was used, details of travel product (group package tour accompanied by a tour conductor or guide, private package tour unaccompanied by a tour conductor or guide, etc.), reservation method of accommodation
