| Summary |
This survey is carried out to apprehend the situation of international students enrolled in Japanese universities (including graduate school), junior colleges, colleges of technology, specialized training colleges (professional course), and educational institutions and Japanese language learning institutions with preparatory courses for entering Japanese universities (as of May 1, 2016) and to obtain fundamental materials relating to international student policy. This survey was conducted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology until 2003 but was transferred to the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) upon its establishment in April 2004. |
