| Summary |
The year 2015 marked 70 years since the end of the Pacific War. Upon reaching this milestone, this survey was carried out to investigate how people comprehend post-war society in Japan. With the objective of understanding what the post-war period means to Japanese people, questions were asked about words that conjure up images of the post-war period and specific examples of events that influenced post-war society and individuals who are symbols of that time. Additionally, questions were asked concerning the shape of future societies, so as not to simply focus on the past but also grasp what the state of Japan should be going forward. |
