Summary This survey is a weekly fixed-point observation survey data by Internet survey and is conducted every Wednesday (starting at 19:00) using the same questions.
Macromill started the Macromill Daily, a public opinion survey, in April 2010 (completed in October 2010) and started the Macromill Weekly Index, a consumer observation survey, in March 2011.
The main survey items were the amount of money spent in the past week, items consumed in the past week, items planned to be purchased in the next week, expected increase or decrease in consumption, and dinner on Sundays.
With the lifting of the ban on online election campaigning in March 2013, we added new questions on interest in national politics, policy themes of interest, feelings and mood, and business sentiment.

This data is from a survey conducted from October to December 2020.The main survey items in the Macromill Weekly Index are as follows (see also “Main Survey Items”).
