Summary The Japanese Panel Study of Employment Dynamics (JPSED) is an annual follow-up survey of individuals' employment status, income, and work conditions during the year prior to the survey. The purpose of the survey is to compile and publish the Works Index and to grasp changes in employment status and income in Japan.
This survey was conducted to clarify the working conditions and working environment under the influence of the new coronavirus (See also the official website of the JPSED. http://www.works-i.com/surveys/panel-surveys.html ).

[Working conditions and working environment under the influence of new coronaviruses]
(1) Employment situation after 2020
- Work events (leaving or entering the workforce), reasons for leaving the workforce
- Working style and employment status as of the first week of April 2020

- Employment status, number of working days and hours per week

- Ratio of work (primary responsibilities, peripheral miscellaneous duties, waiting time)

- Workplace conditions (workload, discrimination, power harassment, sexual harassment, labor union, injuries, mental health)
- Life satisfaction, stress of balancing work and life, health status (stress)
- Children under junior high school age living with them

- Changes in work due to the effects of the new coronavirus
- Whether or not the workplace requests absence from work due to the new coronavirus and whether or not absence allowance is received from the workplace
- Changes in lifestyle due to the effects of the new strain of coronavirus, and changes in spouse's work style and lifestyle due to the impact of the new strain of coronavirus
