Summary
|
School is at the center of children's lives. At school, children are given a variety of experiences through learning activities and events such as field trips, athletic meets, and school trips, as well as through interpersonal interaction with teachers and peers. These school activities are planned and carried out with a specific purpose, but they are only meaningful when the children accept them.
Therefore, the purpose of this study was to reexamine how children perceive their school experiences, what they learn from them, and what kind of growth and development school experiences help children achieve.
This survey attempted to clarify the role of school experiences in children's growth and development from two perspectives (i.e., children’s and their mothers’) by conducting a survey of children as well as a survey of their mothers. However, only the children's survey is included in this report.
