Summary
|
This study clarifies the reality of the parent–child relationship through the attitudes of the mothers of elementary school students in Grades 5 and 6 and attempts to analyze the image of mothers in relation to changes in their lifestyles and marital relationships. Additionally, by focusing on mothers' personal lives in old age as well as their daily lives and role as caregiver for their elderly parents, the survey explores filial piety and the meaning parents attach to having children.
