Summary The tendency to care about one's appearance is growing in popularity not only among adults but also among children. Looking in the mirror, wearing makeup, obsessing about brands, and the desire to be thin are some of the ways in which children try to enhance their appearance. Regarding the latter in particular, what problems arise among children who have a strong desire to be thin?
The establishment of the adolescent ego begins with the tendency to be concerned about one's outward appearance. This survey attempts to analyze children’s psyche during this period by focusing on their body awareness, fashion sense, and desire to be thin.
