Summary
Data Type quantitative research: micro data
Universe The results of the pretest and previous statistical surveys were used as references to determine the size of the industry-segmented sample of female clerical workers in offices staffed with 100 or more employees located in the 23 special wards of Tokyo. Additionally, the percentage of female clerical workers among the total number of employees was estimated on the basis of the supplementary survey of the pretest and was proportionally extrapolated to the total sample of 1,000, together with percentage by industry. The result was a ratio of 630 staff in the manufacturing industry to 370 staff in the financial industry.
