Summary It is to understand people’s attitudes to work styles and life in old age

The main survey items are (1) important items in life in old age, (2) cohabiting with children, (3) preparations for old age, (4) work style in old age, and (5) participation in activities for social contribution

The survey consists of two questionnaires: Questionnaire A and Questionnaire B. Questionnaire A was for subjects aged 30 to 59 years. Questionnaire B was for subjects aged 60 and older. Both questionnaires had mostly the same content.

(5) Participation in activities for social contribution
Status of participation in activities for social contribution, reasons for participating, field of activities for social contribution respondent is participating in, reasons for not participating

(6) Face items
Gender, age, occupation, years of employment, size of workplace by number of employees, occupation type, weekday working hours, highest level of educational attainment, marital status, spouse’s occupation, number of children, age/school year of youngest child, structure of household family members, type of housing, annual household income/breakdown thereof, annual personal income/breakdown thereof, value of real estate owned by the household as a whole, overall current household savings, overall household debt balance
