Summary This is a questionnaire survey that focuses on housewives with the desire to work and polls what types of effects they believe a raise in the consumption tax would have. Specifically, it polls whether or not they believe an increase in the consumption tax would affect their lifestyle, what type of effect it would be (if they believe that it would), goods they would consider buying before the tax hike goes into effect, whether they think their purchasing habits would be affected by the consumption tax hike, and in what way would they be affected (if they believe they would), etc.
