| Summary |
For quite some time now, people have noted that modern children are often tired. As the world has become more materially and economically affluent, people's lives have grown increasingly busy, and children are not exempt from this trend. Do children's busy lives mean that they no longer have the seemingly "useless" yet enjoyable leisure time they once had to naturally cultivate their creativity, independence, and aggressiveness? The purpose of this study is to understand and quantify children's tiredness, the physical and mental stresses that cause it, and the changes in children's daily lives that have caused their fatigue. |
