Summary It has been said that students today have changed. In 1995, a survey was conducted to determine how students actually changed by comparing the results of a 1983 survey (this monograph vol. 51 (SSJDA b051)). Results revealed the deterioration of students' sense of normality.
If this change in students’ sense of normality underlies the bullying problem, students may not feel guilty about bullying. If this is the case, then there is a strong possibility that they will remorselessly repeat the abusive behavior because their moral standards have collapsed. Their peers are also indifferent to bullying and do not want to get into trouble.
Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between bullying and the decline in students’ sense of normality.
