Summary This research project investigates children's living, learning situations, and guardians child-rearing situations over several years and clarifies how they change as children grow up. This enables us to grasp the current situation and issues in children's lives, learning, and child-rearing and consider how to provide better education and child-rearing.
This research project is characterized by the following three points: (1) A continuous panel survey is conducted every year, adding new first-grade students so that the "present" and "changing times" of first-grade through third-grade students in high school can be captured. (2) Because the same children and their guardians are continuously surveyed, the "growth and development" process of guardians and children can be captured. (3) The survey provides a broad and detailed picture of children's attitudes and conditions related to their lives and learning.
